Helping dogs find their forever homes
Who We Are...
We are a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit dog rescue. Our all-volunteer team saves dogs and puppies that are in danger of being euthanized. These dogs and puppies come from areas in Illinois, Kentucky, Tennessee, Alabama, and Louisiana. Once transported back here to the Fox Valley area they are placed in loving foster homes - where they receive veterinary care and start their basic training. We give these loving animals a second chance in life.
Please go to the volunteer page and see how you can make a difference in their lives.
Adopt
We are committed to finding the perfect home for each of our dogs. The adoption process should be fun and exciting for your family and the dogs. Our goal is to place each of our "babies" into a forever home. We look for potential adopters that will be dedicated to their care and training for the rest of their lives. Together we can make a difference in the life of a dog.
Ready to adopt? PLEASE READ THROUGH OUR ADOPTION PROCESS, so you fully understand the steps we take. Then fill out an application.
Foster
We are a foster-based rescue, which means we do not have a brick & mortar location. Each of our dogs is in the care of a volunteer foster family. Before we are able to commit to saving a dog, we need a committed foster home.
The foster care program is a program by which Forever Home Dog Rescue is able to temporarily place dogs into the homes of foster care volunteers. This allows the animals a temporary home with the care and love they deserve and need while they are waiting for their forever home.
Volunteer
Throughout the year we host numerous events. As simple as helping with a transport or adoption event, to helping us with our fundraisers, we are always looking for volunteers to help them run smoothly. It is because of our wonderful volunteers that we are able to continue to rescue and care for the dogs in our program.
(All Volunteers must be at least 16 years of age)
Donate
As a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit dog rescue we are always thankful for those that support us through monetary donations and other kind gifts. Once a dog is in our program we are responsible for their care & making sure they are healthy. This means providing foster homes with everything they will need for their foster dog to all medical (including spay/neuter) to ensure a clean bill of health before adoption. Your donations (monetary, food, crates, toys, etc) help us make this process go smoothly.
